How stump grinding works
A grinder chips the stump away into mulch, working down below the soil surface. We usually go 200 to 300 millimetres down, deeper if you're planning to pave or build. The grindings can be left as mulch or taken away.
Before we grind
We locate services where we can and ask about pipes, cables and irrigation near the stump. Tell us about anything you know is buried nearby.
Old stumps and leftover jobs
You don't need us to have removed the tree. We grind stumps left behind by other contractors or by previous owners.
